Singapre Bugs are a real problem, as is the damp gound in some of the areas. I would prefer bug and good ground protection. Tropical thunderstorms are the bane all tents, I wonder if you could recommend any which could stand up to that.
I personally use the hennessy hammock and that is really good for one person.
I will take a look at the SD flashlite.
