Does anyone own the BCB CK011 Com-Pac Emergency Pack Short Term survival kit. It only costs £7.46 ($11.93) from BCB. As far as I can tell from the picture it contains:
A ranger flint and saw blade striker
A wire saw with split ring handles
A small folding knife
A fishing kit (swivels, hooks, sinkers and line)
Some string
Some thread?
Some brass snare wire
Some Heximine blocks/tinder?
Some sterile scalple blades
Some plasters (adhesive bandages)
Some suctures
Some sort of medical cream?
A tea light
Medical instructions
Some paper matches dipped in wax
A small signalling mirror with alignment hole
A perry whistle
A pencil
Some safty pins
Tweezers
A button compass
2 small round things I cant make out
a black case/bag?
a transparent container to hold it all
instructions

In the UK the wire saw and the flint and striker alone would cost over that price.

The one you described is the long term kit. The one pc2k describes is the short term kit.

they must have got the pictures muddled up then. I wasn't planning on using it as a primary kit, just useing the ingredients. I already have a PSK roughly based on Doug's kit.
thanks.
