Here's another question that's been on my mind for a long time.
Can Betadine (povidone-Iodine) be used for water purification?

And if so, what would the amount/dose be?

I hope someone out there can help..

This was posted some time ago. Betadine/Providone is merely Iodine with a buffering agent to reduce the sting.Remember that one is a surgical soap and another a wound management solution of greater %. I have used both with good results.
