Cool deal.
I always thought pink was a good color. But not for gear.
Little known fact: Pink used to be associated with male babies and powder blue for girls. The thinking was that pink was dilute red. Red was thought to be symbolic of blood and so masculine.
Come to think of it some pink kit might be useful. If my loaner gear was bright pink they might tend to give it back more promptly. That would be both a good thing ... and something of a a novelty.

I used to carry a pink lighter just so I would always get it back!

Very fine looking blade and light, and an even better cause to support. I'm curious, are the limited-run pink Photon and yellow Ritter model getting the new DS LEDs eventually? I started carrying a Freedom because of the ETS endorsement, been wanting ones in yellow for my kits and find the new DS LEDs to be a huge improvement. As for the knife, I'll keep it in mind for a gift for the occasion, but personally have my eye on the fixed blade version with orange scales kit.

My grandfather painted every single tool in his garage and wood shop the same horrible shade of puke yellow, figuring that A) no one would steal a puke colored tool and B) he'd be able to spot it if they did. I bought a pink mini-griptilian for the same reason. Plus, it's a lot friendlier looking around the office, the pink color keeps me self-conscious enough not to take it out and play with it, and if someone gives you crap for your pink knife: flick, *snap*, you're the one holding the razor sharp knife. No down side. I might be buying this one!

Placed my order for the set last night. Who would have thought putting a pink handle on this knife would be the deciding factor for me finally getting this knife.
Now if only the larger version came with the yellow grip.

Ordering a couple Ritter Photons, thanks for the information! And thanks for the site and foundation in general, really got me started on the right foot with my kits, training, and mindset.

My wife loves it! She's the right combination of practical and girly.

Bought one for the wife. She was very pleased. Says she can't wait to show it off at work. It will make everyone envious.
