I don't recall reading anything in any posts about this flashlight, and I am not sure it should be a choice for any kit. However, it might be pretty cool to have. It's just like Surefire's Beast and Hellfire, which have been around for a while. I'm willing to bet they are all around the same brightness (with better battery life on the Surefires).
