I thought the Lundin book would be useful to help my wife become more interested in my ETS planning. She used to make fun of the issue until she started reading a book on significant pandemics in the late 19th and 20th century US. She's at least recognizing that there are risks that we need to address.
NOTE: We're not expecting killer Bird Flu with 99.99% fatality. We're studying events like the influenza epidemic of 1918-1919 where the mortality rate was higher than it is presently.
