I need to buy at least 100 feet, but would buy up to 1000 feet if it got me a good deal. I'm seeing about $7 per 100 feet.

Anyone know of a cheaper source?

Last time I bought some, it was from here , 100 yards for $19.99 (plus shipping). There are probably cheaper places around...

Countycomm.com is a pretty good place for paracord, etc

THAT's what I'm looking for! $4 per 100 feet.

Has anyone used this? Is it of good quality?

I haven't tried their para cord, but I bought some dirt cheap wool blankets from them that were excellent quality.

While I haven't jumped out of a plane with it, I have used CTD as a source of paracord, and I am pleased with the quality. It is new, well spooled, and has the interior strands.

Thank you for your suggestions and comments guys. I'm going to split a 1,000 foot roll with a friend.

500 feet for $24 delivered is a smokin deal and I think 500 feet will last me awhile. laugh

I picked up a 1200' spool of white 550 cord on E-bay for $36 but that was a couple years ago. The vendor went out of business shortly thereafter so I considered myself lucky to even get my shipment. (He incorrectly sent it to another customer and had to wait for it to be shipped back to before he could ship it to me. When I left him a neutral rating, he complained and whined and said it wasn't fair to him!) Well, he got exactly what was fair to him in the end.

Factor in the shipping cost to Canada and the exchange at the time, it came out to about $0.46/ft which I thought was a great deal. I chopped them into 50' and 100' lengths and now family and friends have benefited from my generosity. laugh
