My response was also a bit sharp. I wasn't drunk but I had had an excellent day at work and was feeling really, really smart. Yesterday I applied for another patent and also solved an unrelated chemistry problem that has been stumping people for over ten years. Definately not the time to question the intelligence an egotistic Ph.D.

The idea of a thread on threat assesment is a good idea indeed.
