logmein.com works great. If that web site is blocked, go to https://logmein.com

Gee, I worked for an outfit that, if you were one of the rare ones allowed LIMITED internet access, and you got caught playing online, you got days off without pay. Bummer...

I agree, and bypassing firewalls or other types of web filtering may lead to you having access to the internet all day from home until your last paycheck monies from your recently departed job runs out....

Thanks for the advice BigDaddy, However, I work for a large corporation. I'm pretty sure if I tried that I wouldn't be working for this large corporation anymore. wink I appreciate the advice though. Thanks.

Any network admin worth his salt knows all these little cheats and workarounds and can easily block this type of traffic on the network.

Been there, done that; did not end well.

I now play on-line from home.

I can't access that from my HOME computer. Me thinks it would be blocked at work.

A friend works at a office that disallows web browsing. But the people use forms and data on their laptops from thumb drives. The solution was to download web pages they have some interest in to a capacious thumb drive and to view them at their leisure at work. The action is all one-way. They can't interact with the web sites but they can keep up with them so saving time when they get home.

Slackers, people who are willing to work harder to relax than they would at work if they just did their job the normal way.

Blitz, why not try to get yourself put in charge of your company's emergency/disaster program. Then coming here WOULD be work!
