Ya they are pretty cool. I wonder would the DNR would think when you show up at the camping site with your Yurt.

I've always thought one of these in the back yard would be great to live in while you're building (or rebuilding) your home. Better (and cheaper) than renting an apartment.

I've stayed in more than a few Pacific Yurts out along the Oregon and Washington Coast. They are the bomb! They hold up to the weather quite well, and feel very cozy. Yurts aren't the most secure structures, but not as easy to break into as a tent by a fair margin.

I had strongly considered putting up a Yurt on a chunck of land as a temp housing while I built my fortress. Someday when I am ready to settle down I may do just that.
