Anyone ever read or heard about Hugh Glass?

He was a fur trapper and frontiersman in the 1800's and is most known for his amazing survival after being attacked by a grizzly bear, being left for dead then crawling 200 miles to civilization for help.

I just ordered a book that documents Glass's life and survival story. I will post a review / summary once I am finished the book.

read the book in the 60's..he crawled thru the wilderness--
let maggots eat the rotten flesh from the wounds..he wanted
to get to a fort and kill the guys who left him behind..
yes--they made a move based on it..
