Stumbled across this website . They have an extensive collection of maps from around the world. The pertinent maps for this forum would the 1:250,000 topographical ones.

Some of the maps are older, however, topography does not change much over the years. Also, due to the size of these maps, dial-up internet connections are not suitable...
