I also use these match containers. I have tried several methods of putting a lanyard loop on them Easiest is to drill a hole in the cap, tie a loop in some appropriate line. Stick it through the hole with the knot inside the cap. Put a bit of some sort of sealer on the hole. Works great. Very rugged. I carry pills, hearing aids, sewing kits, small parts and lots of other stuff.
