We had a Christmas Eve service at my church and candles were to be part of the ceremony. Those in charge were scrambling at the last minute to make sure that everything was in order. Someone then asked, "Anyone have a lighter?" I told them I did, and the service went off without a hitch.
Not a smoker, just prepared.
Merry Christmas!

I was lighter-less for church...but the candle lighters were prepared smile

Used a Charge and Wave several times...people are actually paid (though very little I'm sure) to strap those things in there...thank the stars we didn't have any Bratz this year! Those things are the absolute worst!

Used my EDC bag with the diaper and wipes stuff sack added...sippy cup in the Nalgene holder on the side, and Grim Loc-ed the video camera bag to the side when we went to Grandma and Grandpa's...still camera inside, and carried extra toys home in it.

My wife used her new Mora 760MG to cut the ham tonight and I used my new BM Rukus to do the same. I can still taste the BlueLube on my lips! mmmmmhmmmm

My tired eyes and brain mixed this thread with the how do you open blister pack one so I thought you wrote that you used a waterjet to open the blister packs.

Nothing in the way of physical gifts for Survival on Christmas. However, the day spent with DW, DD, and DS was outstanding, one of the best we ever had. It was something I can carry have with me in any situation. I trust all of you had the same.

As a side note: Since today is my birthday all of you are free to send me knives, bivvies, flashlights, backpacks, food (no nuts please, deathly allergic) or whatever. I will gladly accept them.

HI,

I also did full EDC throughout the holidays (even had a leftover DR PSK in my coat pocket at church). My new Leatherman Charge TTi was used many times on packaging and well as the Gerber multitool my son received.

Had a terrific holiday with the entire extended family.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Mike
