Anybody has experience making bayberry candles by boiling the green berries? I've read that extracting the wax is tedious, but it seems like an interesting bushcraft project:
I don't know where bayberries grow, but I got an e-ad from Lehmans in the last week or two advertising bayberry candles - 2 for $10 - and I think I remember they said it took a pound and a half of berries to make them!
