Hey MEM, I use 1/4" dowel rod, cut to the width of the tape. Roll it on by hand. It's slow but accurate because you can adjust it as you roll. It's relaxing and, after you replace your "Ritter" roll, you can roll some larger ones for the BOBs and other kits.
