IMO they´re good but not premium. I prefer boxes that are waterproof without additional sealing.

personally i prefere more rectangular tin, since they are easyer to pack ( for me ). and i dont like the ficked hinged lid, since they reduse the uses of a tn. i prefere either non hinged lids or removeble hinged lids.
but i like the fact that they are made of nickel silver or brass, since that doesnt rust. and nickel silver is quite shiny so usefull as a improvised signal mirror....

I like them a lot.I like the shape of them because you can seal it with tape and wrap paracord around it.I like the hinged lid because you can not loose it.I will buy one for my survival kit and one for my tinder.

Arn't they kind of expensive compared to an altoids can or tobacco tin. My whole PSK didn't cost that much to build.

Bear in mind that those tins are lifestyle products. Preparedness minded people are not the target group for these.
The tobacco tin seems to be tailored for our purpose <img src="images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />. It´s build to fit a pocket, it´s sealed to prevent moisture from passing through, some have twist off lids to prevent accidental opening and it´s free. That´s really hard to beat.
It goes without saying that my kits are in tobacco tins. <img src="images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
