WTF?? How does a public toilet not get check by janitor everyday for toilet paper replacement?

What kind of public toilet is this? I want to avoid it on my travel to Scotland on future date.

If he had hot tap water to warm his feet, why didn't he drink some of that, instead of the ice-cold water???

Pity it didn't have a sprinkler system he could have set off.

This story is totally depressing. Nothing happens here in Scotland. I mean absolutely nothing. Then a man gets himself locked in a crown green bowling club toilet in Aberdeen for 4 days and it become international news. How on earth did this story become an international story?

And it had to happen in a crown green bowling club.

It says he drank tap water, but dipped his feet in a "basin". I don't think "basin" referrs to tap water or the sink.

Why didn't he just turn on all the sinks, stop the m up with toilet paper, do the same with the toilets, and flood the place?
