p.s. It doesn't help to have radios if you can't get reception. I can't get the local stations in the house or truck (which has a good radio).
The last time it flooded, KITI dedicated itself to 24-hr coverage and information, where the shelter buses were picking up, what roads were clear to get to the shelters, how high the water was, warnings of rising water, etc. I don't know if they're doing it this year.
Actual info that I can get is verbal. The info online is fairly skimpy, with most of what is available being mostly road closures.
