Before I get into the meat of this post may I wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Again this year I will remind you to save those bags from the turkey and ham, They make outstanding fish nets with the addition of a thin branch, they can also be used to carry stuff when you are out being a scavenger. You can also put some 550 cord on it and use it to keep what food you have up in the trees. A it dosen't weight very much.

Thanks for the hint. But, there being only the two of us, and propane being expensive, we usually do a Butterball frozen turkey breast in the crock pot. Five hours for the best bird you ever tasted, and almost no cleanup. Today we are going to burn some T-bones in the BBQ.

Happy Turkey Day to all...

You can get smaller bags of the same type around apples and oranges.

I'll have to snag the next one.

I'd just remember to give the nets a quick wash - I wouldn't want random objects I'd be scavenging to smell like turkey or ham that's been in the trash... smile

Onion, and sometimes potatos also come in the mesh bags.
