Remember most fire safes are fire RESISTANT, not Fire PROOF.

The internal temperature will rise fairly high, but usually below the flashpoint of paper.

Sheet protectors and CD's do not make it through fires well in fire safes.

If you plan on keeping CD's/DVD's in a fire safe, make sure it's rated as a computer media fire safe.
