Why do I think I'd get into a lot of trouble with one of these?

Cool toy!

But judging by the EDC threads on here, a shortage of screwdrivers in pockets isn't a problem!

Blast from what I have seen and read here and in your blog I don't think you would need anything quite so hitech to get in trouble. grin

I have one of those, conveniently small, but the taper leaves
something to be desired if you are working on nice screw slots
that you don't want to damage.

The pocket wrench has a slotted screw taper that widens on both
sides, so is gentler on screws. Its other features-bottle opener,
ruler, hex drive, wrench and pry bar are well thought out too.
It is heaver and you only get one for the price.

Not very impressive. The thiner slots comes with the smaller heads. Something of this shape would be a perfect tiny tool:

Sharp point will work well on tiny glasses screws and with the phillips heads too. You'll have more leverage for the big slotted screws also. The inner hole could be shaped as in the above mentioned wrench (for small nuts).

I have one of the Lee Valley pocket screwdrivers, too. I have it on my keychain, and it's handy. However, I've not used it very many times in real life. The idea's fantastic, but one thing I've noticed is that sometimes the circle is too big to fit in the space where a screw lives - especially if it's recessed. A neat gadget for sure, however.

As soon as I can set up an order with Lee Valley, some of those are coming my way. If for thing else, evaluation and tiny gifts.

And Blast, you could get in trouble with a couple of paper cups. :P

I've got a few of them (or something very similar). It's normal purpose is a spark plug gapper, but it does work ok for a screwdriver.
