Rattling Axis Lock?

I noticed that shortly after I got my mini RSK (yellow), that it would make a rattle-y, clicky sound when closed. When the blade is open, the sound stops. I just started EDCing my full size RSK M2, and today I noticed it is doing the same thing. I EDCed my mini M2 for a long time, and never any clicking sounds. Do my locks have problems?

I noticed the same thing from my sequel, but only when I open or close it slowly. I think it is the lock.

I don't think its the lock. I think its probably the stop pin (the pin that the back of the blade makes contact with when the blade is open). That pin spins. Put your finger on the stop pin with the knife closed and shake it. Does the rattling stop? This is normal, and beneficial. The pin spins to reduce wear. This way, the blade does not contact the stop pin in the same place every time.
On some Benchmades, the stop pin is fixed in place, and makes no noise. On some others, it spins. Again, normal.
Or, I could be wrong.
Hey. First post!

My mini RSK rattles from time to time. It has to do with the tension in the pivot screw. There is a sweet spot where the blade opens freely (does not bind) and the blade does not rattle. Mine likes to loosen up over time so I am constantly re-tightening it. One of these days I will take it out and put a drop of loctite on it.

This was discussed in some length on another forum specific to knives, and most everyone who fixed it on their own did what Doug suggested. If I can find the thread, I may post a link to it.
