Bummer. I will count myself lucky. The Inova in my pocket (EDC) is on the end of a short lanyard attached to a TAD Gear Lifecapsule. Maybe that setup gives it enough wiggle room to avoid being crushed against another item and activated. The same light on my keychain has been ok since I switched it to signal mode, but I don't normally carry keys in my pants pocket (and there is more room in a jacket pocket with less chance of it being compressed and activated). They really are a nice affordable light and I hate to give them up. Might have to adopt the "quarter" solution outlined above.

I think some of the individual Photon Freedoms have stiffer switches than others. I would have thought my pocket was pretty hostile but I've never had that problem. My switch needs quite a lot of pressure.

The coin-cell lights I really don't trust have a sliding switch.
