Looking for input on this one. I'm looking to buy some land, know the basics as far as fresh water supply, elevation and south side sunlight. Could anyone provide more info? I’m looking northwest or southwest of central MA.

I honestly don't know much about buying land, but a thought that ran through my mind was "how can you get a prospective piece of land tested for hazardous waste and toxins?" Who knows what was going on there 50 years ago.

If you've found a piece of property you like make closing the deal contingent on the results of an environmental specialist's report. He knows how to find this stuff out & will give you a signed document. He could recommend doing more investigation or sampling.
