I usually go through Brigade QM for stuff, but I am having trouble finding the following:<br>1. NATO matches-they have what they call Brit lifeboat matches, though<br><br>2. BCB Saw-They have a wire saw that they say is made in the UK, but don't label it as a BCB<br><br>Any help is appreciated.

Lifeboat matches are NATO matches and the Saw is also what you are looking for. Expect to use part of one match canister to practice the unique striking method as described by Doug.

I don't know if you are buying these items to put in the ever so popular "Altoids" thing. If you're not...I would suggest the Pocket Chainsaw produced by Supreme Products, instead of the BCB wire saw. It saws through just about everything, and comes in a can about the size of a chewing tobacco container. Do a Google search for it, you'll find sources everywhere.<br><br>John McIntire

It is for an altoids kit. I already have a saw made by Ultimate Survival and put in their kit, it works well, but it is BIG.
