I just finished the book, and concur with Andy's view. If you enjoyed 98.6 Degrees, chances are you'll like this book. Lundin preaches preparation, while cautioning against paranoia. He also bursts a few bubbles, like living "off of the fat of the land" and over-emphasizing having a fully stocked armory at the expense of other preparation. He also suggests cooperating with others rather than playing
"Mountain Man". The overall views on survival and self-reliance expressed in his book are refreshing. I strongly recommend this book to anyone considering long-term preparedness. It's a bargain.
