does anyknow the breaking strain of para cord - as one website refered to it as rope -implying it can take my weight-but this is very vague just wondered if you guys could shed any light!<br><br>Thanks

it can hold your weight ( static strenght of 550 lbs/ 250 kg) , but do NOT use as climbing rope !!! only to secure equippement, tarps,etc. But NEVER use it as climbing rope.<br><br>usually if the sites says type 2, 550 paracord, with 7 internal line,breaking strengh of 550lbs/250kg, etc.... it will be the real thing, you can always ask them if you wanna be sure..<br><br>and a tip if you wear boot, use them as laces, they are strong ( don't brake as easly as normal laces) and they give's you boots survival capabilities...
