In real life, I'm a strategic planner for an interactive communications strategy and design firm.

You may have heard of some of our clients - AT&T, HBO, Sesame Street, Discover Card, LEGO....

Well, part of my job is being an "expert" in all things interactive and online I need to deliver a talk in two weeks on "Social Networking & Online Communities"

And one of the subjects that came up was....Facebook.com

Now I'm really, really not into these Social Networking sites (however, I admit they can be a bit addictive)...

BUT

For the presentation, I also need to be able to show what a "large network" looks like from the inside - as in a person with a large network (me) using Facebook to connect with the people in the network...

SO...

You - yes YOU - are hereby invited to be my "friend" on Facebook:

I need to grow this thing FAST, so by all means, if you're already assimilated by Facebook, go ahead and put me on your list. I won't pester you, it's all about quantity of connections at this point.
