Just caught this one on DVD rental... interesting concept. It drug on a bit at first but gets better. You would definitely have to repack your SHTF bag.

There isn't a wally world within 30 miles of my place. we head over to the hollywood vid and have unlimited rentals for 10 buck/month. It is a good way for us to weed thru those we want to own vs. those we don't.

It was more than just turning off your toys. You had to get outside of radio/tv/cell reception. I don't know how many years it would take for all those systems to fail and these things would go back.. or die off...

On a slightly different note, we did check out 30 Days of Night this past weekend. It had some interesting twists that hadn't been done before.

I feel your pain. For the last five months we have been in the boonies of Wyoming, nearest Wallyworld is 111 miles, I have no idea where the nearest Blockbuster/Hollywood Video is. Only one TV channel, it is so fuzzy that it gives us a headache to watch it. New RV doesn't have a sat antenna. So we watch our library of DVD's, read, play cards, and talk a lot. That in addition to watching a herd of pronghorns wander by every day. We leave her for civilization on Halloween Day, the Great Pumpkin is gonna turn us in to Arizona...
