You can get one at almost any hardware store. They are really for use as a center punch by machinists, but they work GREAT for breaking the tempered glass of auto side and rear windows...<br><br>They are usually under $10...

See this at Harbor Freight. I picked a couple up at the local store and they work fine - about $3 US on sale a while back. Haven't tried them on automotive glass, but they punchmark steel quite well. Check your tool stores in the UK and you'll find similar automatic punches.<br><br>Tom

thanks, but i've never seen one in england before. I supose I wasn't looking. I'll keep an eye out.
