Gaffer's tape is an alternative to duct tape, but in my opinion it's better. Gaffer's tape doesn't leave a residue after you peel it off. Water doesn't affect its hold and it's not heat effected (doesn't melt!) I think it's just as good as duct tape if not better. I put gaffer's tape in my PSK and it works good.<br>Just something to think about.<br><br>Frank

how can you see that a roll of tape is gaffer's tape ? except that its cloth like...it's hard to see with all that plastic packing.<br>round here lot of people call ducttape gaffers tape and they usualy don't write down on the label what type of tape it is, just "universal tape" or "multipurpose tape" or something like that...

Most gaffer's tape is not waterproof.
