I reckon Discovery's done shown all there's gonna be for Season two. Seems like a let down if all we get this year is 6 new episodes. I'd like to have seen him do one on travelling within TSA limitations and what you can do, though that would be outdated soon as they change the stinking rules again.

I liked the island one. All that rain sure made for a relatively uneventful episode, but it's kinda nice to know that the "Castaway" scenario is not such a bad prospect.

Small correction: There were 7 new episodes. The seventh episode was “The Making of Survivorman” (not the same as the “Behind the Scenes” episode of last season). Just wanna make sure you didn’t miss something you would have wanted to see. smile

I like the show. And I've rather got 5 seasons with 6 episodes than three with 9.

Yep, I guess we are lucky to get what we do. Six just makes it that much more special I suppose.

I suppose we should cut his wife some slack too. It's not like she has to share him with us anyways. Maybe as a consolation, we might see him post here and at least say "Howdy, eh!" once in a while.

One can dream.

I really enjoy this show. In my opinion is the best survival show by far, or at least the one that better aligned with my experience and way of seeing the world.
I loved the Amazon episode and can personally corroborate how scary is to look eye to eye a 90 kilos cat. In my case it was no in the jungle but in the steppes but nevertheless very, very, very (need fresh underwear) scary.
Is a down to the earth, worth to watch show.
And by the way understand his wife and body complaints, really do.
Best Regards
