I have always purchased the cheapest family FAK at the store. (any Walmart, Target, etc.) and added my own stuff. The family FAK's might have more than what your looking for but they cost less than buying everything seperately. A lot of the supplies in FAK's don't last that long and some of the stuff you may not need in the area that you live. I will say that feminine pads are the best for compresses. They cost very little and should be added to a kit. Other than stopping blood and a couple of scrapes you would want to consider meds, both prescription and OTC that you would want to include.
