I have never examined a M5 medical kit but the blood stopper thing sounds strange. Although we have chemicals which would stop capillary bleeding following skin surgery, i doubt very much that the chemical in the kit is the same.<br><br>First rule to stop bleeding is direct pressure over the wound and to elevate the affected part. I wouldn't put much weight on the blood stopper. <br><br>
