The best thing about motorhomes is that you can just pull over, pull the curtains shut, and go to bed. In a tlr you have to get out of the towing vehicle and walk back to the tlr. It might be cold, raining, windy, etc, and you have to get out into the weather twice. Also, if you spend a lot of nights just stopping in a wide spot along the road, or in a rest area, and bad guys come a knocking, you have to get out where they are in order to take off. In a motorhome you just fire it up and drive off. If they try to block you in by parking in front, you use the mighty Ford V-10 to push 'em out of the way. Also, while on the go, if you need to make a potty stop, or grab a soda out of the 'fridge, you can do that without getting out into the elements...
