I saw this little key chain wind up flashlight but the importer wants a min of 75 orders to order one. I know Doug had posted the Essential Gear wind up, but I was looking to see if one was available under a different manufacture.

I bought one of these from the Discovery Store to carry in my pocket. It worked fine for about 3 weeks, then the gear stripped and it wouldn't charge. I didn't abuse it and prior to it breaking, I was impressed with the amount of light the LED produced. On a full wind up (approx. 5 min.),it would produce usable light for about 30-40 min.

Regarding the eGear pocket flash lights. DR has posted some exciting news from the ORSM event here: http://forums.equipped.org/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=103047#Post103047 So, I'd wait for eGear's new wind-up flashlights models (not available at their site at the moment).

Thanks Lasd02, I was hoping to find a durable one but I guess I'll have to wait and see.
