I notice constantly the array of novelty lighters displayed at gas stations and convenience stores. There is usually everything from shotgun-shaped lighters to a stack of poker chips or pigs and sticks of dynamite. I still check out the assortments any time I go in. That came to a halt when I stopped at a 7-11 the other night and came across a "Bic M-Series" lighter. It holds the mini bic, is made of metal and is relatively flat. It has a good strong hinge that holds the cover to the body. I feel better tossing this in the PSK than the mini bic alone. I've seen ways on ETS to keep the lighters from discharging the butane (rubber bands, toothpics, etc.), but something like this can really offer peace of mind. The M-Series is listed on the front page of the Bic web site.
