The Airborne cold medicine tubes will hold a full pack of REI stormproof matches perfectly. The lid is kind of like a tupperware lid, it seals tight and has the lip around the edge. To make mine less likely to be inadverdently popped off I wrap (orange) duct tape around the tube till its the same diameter as the lid. Dry matches AND duct tape. What else do you need?

Airborne can be found in most any drug store. Walmart has it, Walgreens and some other drug stores carry it and also a cheaper store brand that uses the same tubes. I also think the stuff works. Use it at the very first sign of a cold and it stops it. I haven't had a cold for 2 years.
