The sea temperature measurements along the eastern sea board of the United States appear to be unusually warm.
I was surprised today at the speed Tropical Storm Erin formed within the last 24 hrs in the Gulf of Mexico.
Tropical Storm Dean which has formed in the mid Atlantic south east of Barbados, may become a very serious hurricane and may track further north than would be anticipated. Certainly one to keep an eye on over the next week or so.
