Along with my own survival kit, I am also putting together one for my guide dog and I'm going to include a first aid kit. I'm not sure which product I should use for minor boo-boos; Bactine, Tripple Antibiotic ointment, Betadine, or A & D ointment. Even though I'm also going to consult the vet, I'm just curious as to what some of you think is the better choice? I want to make sure that I use the product that will make him as comfortable as possible.
Any ideas will be very much appreciated! Thanks.
Dora

Dora, I would PM Peanut, our resident DVM in the forum. I presonally try to duplicate first aid for my horses and me where possible. I like the least invasive topicals. Vets hate to clean all the "goop" well meaning owners stucco wounds with just to appraise the damage.
