I would love to hear some thoughts on which Squirt is better for everyday use and for a survival kit and why.

I got my Glacier P4 yesterday. I chose the P4 instead of S4 because I find the scissors redundant to the knife, and the pliers are useful for tighening bolts, twisting wires, etc. The P4 is missing the tweezers, but I can use the pliers as a crude tweezers for larger objects.

I do miss the scissors occasionally - I used the Micra scissors to cut my nasal hairs. I suppose the pliers could be used to pull hairs but that would hurt. Ouch!

My Micra is going into my survival kit by default, since the P4 will replace it on my keychain.

I'm opting for the P4 myself. I wear an original leatherman on my belt and it'll go into my kit. I also carry a SAK which has the scissors and tweezers.

The P4 has many important tools in such a small package. I would choose the P4 to squeeze into the PSK. The S4 is more for everyday use (scissors are less threatening than a knife).

just my 2 cents....
