I recently discovered the Arc'tyrex Quiver Pack (can't do links) on the net and was wandering if anyone had used or seen one. I can't find it in my area to look at but I really like that it's hydration compatible, looks like it could fend off some weather and it's sling style.

I just need enough space for a few small items. I enjoy walking in good or bad, but not dangerous, weather so water resistance is a consideration. Any thoughts?

If you're not trying to carry large square objects, this looks like it could be a pretty decent pack. I used to carry one similar to it, bit its triangular shape didn't work so well for carrying text books so I converted back to a regular back pack. Also this one seems to be a little more rectangular than mine was.

I have a Camelbak Mule which comes with a 100 oz bladder. I found it ideal for EDC gear (maxi-kit), but not much else. If all I needed was the 10 Essentials (water, FAK, fire making kit, trash bags et al) it was okay, but not big enough for additional clothing other than a pair of socks and maybe a long underwear top. Recently I found a Camelbak Rim Runner which has the same 100 oz bladder but a lot more room for additional bulky items. Rim Runner Reviews
