I, like most everybody else, have had problems finding Strike-Anywhere matches, especially the kitchen sized matches. My new source of supply is the "Mom-N-Pop grocery store" around the corner from my house. Check out the local Mom-N-Pop stores around your own location and you may also find they carry these.

I think that's ALL they sell around here (Bucks County PA). We have no problem getting them in any quantity.

In rural Canada "Strike Anywhere" are still quite common in stores, usually the "Redbird" brand in large or small boxes.

I have seen them locally at Canadian Tire and large grocery stores also at Campers Village, outdoor/outfitting shops, fireplace stores and smaller family run convience stores.

I rarely carry strike anywhere matches anymore and do not include them in my kits because they are not permitted onboard aircraft, so when I carry matches I have changed to the windproof/waterproof safety matches.

Also check your local Ace hardware. Last time I was in there, they had both the kitchen & penny sizes.

Amazingly enough, they're readily available here in my little corner of the Democratic People's Republic of California (Riverside - SE of LA-LA land). I've seen them in several large grocery stores (Von's and Stater Bros.).
