PB all over your gear is a pita.
Especially in bear country! Not really, just make your buddy carry the chow bag. And sabotage his foot wear. OBG, Running hot water through them seems to almost melt the residue. Misanthrope

Neat site, thank you Russ. Please post and let all of us know how it is.
The last time i was at the grocery store i was looking for sailor boy pilot bread (thanks to Frostbite) and couldn't find it, but while i was in the ethnic food isle there was toasted bread by the box. The expiration date on the packaging was for sometime in 09 so i now have a box of toasted cinnamon raison bread in the back of the truck. It tastes good, but it is toasted hard all the way through. Little worried about it crumbling into cinnamon raison powder after bouncing around in the truck for a while, but maybe it won't last that long.

Sailor Boy Pilot Bread found near the bottom of a long list. My last vacation to Alaska I had to cram a box into my luggage. I grew up eating the stuff and since moving to TN can't find it in stores. I always expected to find it being sold to campers and hikers but no go. It is round and thick, comparable to the bread in MREs but somewhat like a saltine, and makes a good peanut butter sandwich (or mini pizza). It doesn't spoil or crumble easily.

Seen it at the local Wally and also grocery in my area, it was in with the rest of the peanut butter and also on the aisle with the saltines and graham crackers, I think.

Thanks Frostbite, I looked in the PB isle but didn't look in the cracker isle, I'll check it out next time I'm there.

You guys should check out Minimus.biz if you haven't already. Justin's Organic Honey Peanut Butter in a squeeze package (also Cinnamon Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, Maple Almond Butter, Honey Almond Butter...etc.). They also have a PB&J squeeze combo. Other interesting things: Mainstay Energy Bars, Mini Tabasco sauce, honey packets, any condiment you can think of, individual packets of OTC medicine, travel size toilitries, etc. I love this site. Also, they're the official supplier of single-serving cranberry jelly to astronauts on the ISS. Who knew? No affiliation, etc.
