The carbon knife can be worked to a nice edge. The sawback is limited like others by length and the thicknes of the blade material. It's a tough unit in the spirit of the SPETSNAZ survival tool but requires additional physical effort VS dedicated tools.

So... If you carry a trowel that isn't a U-Dig-It or a full fledged e-tool, and want some redundancy (particularly if you already carry a folder) this would be a good buy.

It reminds me in shape of the CS Warhead... I wonder how it throws....
