Don't get me wrong, I really like Target stuff, especially their generic Target brand which is usually half the price of name brands and just as good IMO. Thats actually the main reason I go there, because they have a quality generic brand that saves me a crapload of money.

I'm not so sure of that. Maybe 'hard' materials are okay, but things like shampoo, laundry detergents and other things often seem inferior to the exact same brand sold elsewhere, like they're watered down.

Also, I've noticed that WM is carrying fewer and fewer brands, and what's left is of inferior quality.

I've always found that a name brand like maglight you can find cheaper somewhere besides walmart. Thats why I don't understand the buying everything at walmart mentality, you pay for for the name brand stuff and get crappier off brand stuff and have less to choose from.
The LED Maglight for example that Home Depot seold for $19.99 while WalMart was selling it for $24.99
