I did a search, but didn't find anything.

I am wanting to carry two of the mint-containers on my person, and I would prefer to carry them around my ankle. I know there are gun ankle holsters. Has anyone seen or made such a rig? Any thoughts?

Thank you.

When i'm travelling I carry my passport and serious money in one of the ankle money holders they sell in travel shops. Just stick it under your sock (on the inside of your ankle if you really are worried about anyone seeing it) and it's very secure and handy. unlike when you have to start to undress to get at a money belt, or the dead giveaway of a lump under your shirt on your chest with a wallet round your neck. a mugger is going to see that.
Personally I don't have a survival tin. The contents are scattered on keyrings, zip fobs, and wallets. In fact till I found this site I didn't even think of them as a kit. I just kept things lke a light and whistle on my keyring and needles and threads in my wallet because they were handy!

Back when I went into the service, and smoked (a jillion years ago), the BX sold little plastic and elastic ankle cigarette pack holders, but they were pretty flimsy. Over the years I have made several different ankle rigs for spare ammo, etc. Pretty easy to do, you first go to an orthopedic supply place and get some heavy duty elastic, about 2-3" wide. Sometimes you can get them to stitch some velcro on the ends for you, sometimes you can't. You then have to come up with the container to stitch onto the elastic. But the best I ever had was an ankle holster that I stitched directly onto a pair of combat boots. That sucker road solid, did not want to shift and flop like strap-ons do. If you put much weight on the ankle you will walk with a limp until you get used to it...

There are a few travel wallets, but if you are looking to pack one "cubic altoid" you'll probably need custom. And probably two of them.

And you are probably going to want to go with a gartered rig that has a strap above the calve- I've tried ankle holsters several times, and every time they slipped down like a cheap sock.

Galco used to make something called the "Ankle Safe". I have one and it works great. Don't know if they are still available or not.

So do you have an issue with the Galco slipping down "like a cheap sock?"

another toy for playing "undercover cop"--try running with
something like that around you ankle..it will also cause
you to move in a way that attracts the attention of real
cops who can tell if someone is carrying something concealed.

Type "ankle wallet" into any search engine and you should find what you need.

Ducttape: No, it worked real well whether carrying a spare magazine, flashlight or other items. It has a very good "elastic" and velcro closure and the body is elasticized as well.

Canoedogs: When I bought it, I still was a "real" cop. I retired three years ago. Frankly, depending on how and what it's used for, it doesn't "print" much at all. Also, cops are concerned with weapons or things that they feel are a danger to them, not with the fact that you are using an "ankle pocket" to carry your passport, money or sundry items. Naturally, if they are suspicious of you to begin with for some reason they'd be curious what you were carrying on your person regardless of location.

Wouldn't it be easier just to add a cell phone pouch on your belt for this?

Yes, but ID and money are slender. Two altoid tins strapped to your ankle on the other hand is a bit bigger- sooner or later someone is going to think it is a drug stash. Or that you want to FedEx yourself to your deity of choice and bring some unwilling company.

Sometimes urban survival is about not being noticed. By anyone. This isn't blending in. This is trying to be sneaky in a manner that when it fails, it's going to fail hard.
