Sydney is the latest city to recommend citizens prepare and maintain an emergency kit. The Go Bag seems a little light on gear to me, but there's nothing to stop a motivated individual from including additional useful items like a knife (and other tools and equipment that may be useful in an emergency).

Then again, are the citizens allowed to have knives in Australia?
