Please double-check my approach.

I have a couple of foodsafe 55 gallon plastic drums I store water in. The goal is safe drinking water storage for about a year.

The recipe I've been using is 55 gal. tap water, 10 tablespoons regular, UNcented bleach.

Seem reasonable?
